THEN GOTO RINGTONES SECTION.

DONT LET THE SELECTION GOTO THE BACK OPTION

JST PRESS THE OK BUTTON OF UR MOBILE & KEEP IT PRESSED UNTIL THE NAME OF THE RINGTONES SECTION OPENS

UR DONE JST GOTO D RINGTONE U WANNA DOWNLOAD THROUGH THE PROCEDURE

IF U WANT TO DOWNLOAD MORE RINGTONES... JST SELECT THE BACK OPTION ON THE SCREEN & PRESS OK BUTTON.

AFTER GOING 2 RINGTONES MENU FOLLOW D PROCEDURE...

NOTE: DONT DARE PRESS THE BACK BUTTON OF UR MOBILE OTHERWISE UR R-WORLD WILL CLOSE & U WONT B ABLE 2 DOWNLOAD MORE RINGTONES ANYMORE !!!

Type any four nos. without space in front of the symbol &# except 0000 and every time a new thing will come out. Not every time bcoz in most tries the symbol like this will come:- ✏

Tipz To Increaze Airtel GPRS Speed:

In Handset:
•Open Internet Settings,then Internet Profiles & Edit the Mobile Office Profile.
•Enable Proxy and Set the Proxy address as 202.56.231.117
•Restart your Handset.
In PC:
•After Setting the Proxy in your Mobile,Restart it and Connect to PC.
•Open Control Panel and then Phone and Modem Options.
•Select the Modem Tab and then Select your Phone's Modem,Right Click on that and select Properties.(Select USB WMC Modem not USB Data Modem)
•In the Properties Dialog Box,Select Advanced Tab.
•Check the Extra Initialization Commands Box.
•Copy & Paste the Following: AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","airtelgprs.com","",0,0
•Click OK and Restart your Machine

Access menu without Sim card

When display say "Wrong Pin" press NO and you have access to the all menus: Info, Access, Settings, Calculator, Clock, Key lock On?, Mail, Phone book. NOTE if you try this on your phone may stop at Key lock On? menu and you'll have to take your battery out to turn the phone on again. And this will not care about Phone lock!
A way to (un)lock your cell phone on to the network(subset) :
1. Press <**<
2. Then on the display appear and give you two choices: Lock to Network ? and Lock to Network subset? (Use arrow keys to select)
3. Enter the NCK number (code is provided by the SP)
4. You have 5 attemps to do this
5. Then your cell phone will work 'only' with the networkWarning: The Service Provider (SP) Lock menu is used to lock the cell phone to the SP's SIM card. Once the cell phone is locked to a specific operator, if one inserts a SIM card from a different operator the phone will refuse to accept it! The cell phone will however accept another SIM card from the same operator. To activate/deactivate this lock one needs a special secret code that is not available to the end user. Your phone can be locked to a service provider FOREVER by doing this! If an invalid code is entered all five times, the menu will exit and be deactivated! Any further attempt to activate the NCK/NSCK lock Menu will result in the response "Not allowed"! However the NCK/NSCK lock can be recover through a direct clearing in the EEPROM

Shortcut for Last Dialed call menu

If you for some reason don't want to enter the 'Last Dialed calls menu' by using the 'YES' key you can use the following key stroke instead: First '0' then '#'.

Quick SMS Typing

When typing SMS messages, you have to wait some seconds before you can type the next letter if it is in the same button than the previous one. For example try to write the word "letter", you have to wait before you can enter the second "t".. A much faster solution is to press the # button twice and then the letter "t".

Bypass the SP lock

The service provider (SP) lock is used to lock the cell phone to the SP's SIM card. Once the cell phone is locked to a specific operator, if one inserts a SIM card from a different operator the phone will refuse to accept it! The cell phone will however accept another SIM card from the same operator.

With a Nokia 16xx/21xx/31xx/ 51xx/81xx that are SIMlocked to one provide you can bypass the SP lock like this:
1: Insert sim card of different provider.
2: Turn on the phone and press the UP VOLUME key for 3 sec. then release it and the phone says PIN CODE?
3: Press the "C" key.
4: Then Press * and wait until it disappear and appear again, then press * one more time and 04*PIN*PIN*PIN#
the phone now says: PIN CODE CHANGED (or ACCEPTED) and the SIM card is accepted until you restart the phone again.
NOTE: On version 5.04 Nokia has removed this option!
Your number in your display
1. Go to menu 3-7 Call cost settings.
2. Turn ON the Call costs' limit 3-7-1. PIN2 code Required.
3. Put in the limit with the phone number. eg. my phone # is 019 2184697 Enter the limit as 2184697
4. Go to menu 3-7-2 Show costs in. PIN2 code Required.
5. Select Currency.
6. Enter Unit price: 1
7. Enter Currency name as 019 (per my phone # eg. above)now the phone number 019 2184697 will remains on the 4th row of the display.
Secondly, if you press the # key, it prompts which line to be used; Line 1 or 2.

Discard cell barred information.

Should work on all software versions.
1. Go to calendar (menu - 8)
2. Make note / reminder
3. Enter some text into the edit box
4 . Hold clear until whole text is cleared, then press Back
5. Press 0. Main screen is shown but a space appears on the screen. You can't see it of course.
6. Enter 4 digits (1234, for example)
7. Use the down arrow to move the cursor to the left side of the numbers and the space (2 times down arrow)
8. Now enter 6 digits and press the green "Call button".Wait some seconds...
the phone will now flash the background light and finally reboot.
The trick should also work on other menus like the profile menu...
